ADDINGTON SALE. (By Teleeraph.—Press .Association.) Christchuroll, July 17. At Addington there were very miKli reduced. entries in tlio yards in almost ail departments in consequence of the wet weather. Cattle sold irregularly, but without quotable change. The few fat lambs offered sold well, as did fat sheep. Store ehocp were in keen demand and prices were firmer, especially fur sl-oro lambs. There was a.lso a good sale ''or fat pigs. The yarding of store sheen showed a further reduction, as might reasonably be expected at. this late period of the season, ui'jd the climatic conditions experienced recently. On the whole the sheep penned did not appear to advantajrc, iiOJi of them showing clearly that they had coin: through a trying time. All classes of ewes, wethers, and lambs were l epresentcd. Despite the unfavourable weather, there was a representative attend.ancc. and there was very keen competition for all fat elates of sheep. Lambs made n. further advance cf Gd. to 9d. pel- head.
