'I lIK XISW TIIKATRE. Yesterday the elaborate picture play, "Hedeiuplion," again ill ti acted numerous attendances at MucMalum anil JJomioijy"s continuous pictures at tile -New Theatre, Manner* Street. The story relates the career of a beautiful young Parisian girl, who has very varied experiences until tiliiiily u's a hospital nurse she displays remarkable heroism in the face of an outbreak of cholera. She is awarded the Cross of the Legion of Honour, but dies from the scourge before receiving - the decoration. The supporting items include h rare type of in-dustiial drama, "The Block Willi;!' by (lie Vitagraph Company. This picture gives an insight into various phases of the "coal miner's life in the depths of the earth. Another entertaining item is "The Demon Envy" The conn's element is also well maintained. ".Redemption" will be repeated at all sessions to-day and to-night, tegether with the supporting programme.
KING'S THEATRE. The King's Theatre was well patronised last evening,' when the principal picture of the current programme—"The Traitress"—was again well received. "I'athe's Gazette" is, as usual, an interesting number, while such pictures as "The English Derby. 1912," "Paris," and "A New Betainning" are well worthy of mention. The programme will be repeated to-night.
THE ADELPIII. There were two-performances at this theatre yesterday, when good "houses" witnessed the excellent fare provided. Some exceptionally good seenics are being shown in this week s programme, perhaps the two best being "Along the Banks of the llr.uee to Hinan" ami "The Fair at Irbith." The latter shows a very uncommon picture of Hussion customs. "The Heir Apparent" is 11 well-acted drama, recalling, in its style, tho well-known novel, "The Prisoner of Zenda." Another good drama is "The Hobo," an American train story. Amusing, clean comedy is supplied by "Bobby .Stamps the Postcards" and-"The Broken Minor," the latter telling how the supposedly seven years" had luck (following on the breaking of a mirror) was transferred to an unsuspecting Chinese. The Adelphi male quartet is announced for .I'ridav evening, when '"The Soldier's Farewell will be rendered. The usual prize matinee will be given on Saturday. Frum this evening .patrons of the Adelphi will be enabled to enjoy a hot cup ol' tra or coffee during the performance, as the buffet is being opened again.
