The Walohine River is in heavy flood. ; .Hastings, July 17.—Dull.and threatening; 1 ! no rain; temperature mild; floods further' north. Ot-aki, July 17.—The rainfall for 24 hours to 9 a.m. to-day was l.Cfiin. The total eo far for the month is 2.43 inches.
