A SCHOOL COMPETITION. The boys of Croydon Preparatory School held their annual boxing competition on Monday afternoon. Mr. Bridge acted as referee, and Mr. Jackson as time-keeper. Tho following aro the' results:— Bantam Class.—First round: Haynes beat E. White, J. Hall beat E. Gore. Final: J. Hall beat Haynes. Feather-weights.—First round: Lanrcnson beat Bower, Knox heat Warburton. Second round: Knox beat. Lnurenson, A. Young beat M.'Young. Final: A. Young beat Knox. \ Light-weights.—First round: J. Johnston beat Baldwin. R. Gore beat P. Hall, Keillor beat Bothamlcy, I. Pearce beat Bennett, W. Johnstan beat P. Anderson, R. Young beat Newbigin, C. Marehbanks beat P. Ellis, R. Anderson beat Duncan. Second round: J. Johnston beat R. Gore. Keillor and I. Pcarco (tie), R. Young beat W. Johnston, R. Anderson beat. C. Marehbanks. Third round: J. Johnsto'n beat Keiller, R.
