A FARMERS' FIGHTING FUND.
OPPOSITION TO WORKERS' UNION. Br Tcle»ra-Dh-Prcss Aesociation—Conyrieht Sydney, July 16. At the annual conference of the Farmers' and Settlers' Association, the report showed that a strong inter-State fund" was being formed to fight, the claims of the Rural Worker*' Union. The president, in his address, stated that tho association opposed tho Government's land policy, but had no intention of being the tail to any party, Labour or Liberal. If it was to bo any part of the dog, it would be tho head. (Rec. July 10, 9.20 p.m.) Sydney, July IG. A resolution was passed at the- Farmers' Conference in favour of extending the association so as to embrace the whole Commonwealth.
