The past frozen meat season at Wanga,nui is reported to have been very successful, the quantity. of mutton and beef shipped Home being much in excess of last year's amount. The Wanganui Chamber of Commerce is to be represented by two delegates at the International Chamber of Cnmmcrcc Congress at Boston, U.S.A., tho representatives being Messrs. A. Robinson and A. Burnett. A Public Works Department inspection of the southern loop of the Gonvilie Iramway was carried out this, morning. Tt is reporled that (he work stood all tests, and that (he permanent time-table will he in operation on Friday.
