A GREAT IRRIGATION SCHEME
MURRUMBIDGEE WATER TURNED ' ON. By Teleera-ph—Press Association-OopyriEht - (Rec. July 14, 5.5 p.m.) Sydney, July 13. A large Ministerial party visited the Murrumbidgee irrigation works under tlio Burrc'njuck scheme, when Mr. Griffith, Minister for Works, performed the ceremony of turning on the water. At present 415 farms, embracing 300,000 acres; are ready for irrigation. Later on 'a much larger area will be irrigated.
