T. liovis; Thtolore Macclcs-fttH, Mr. "J. H. E. Tilling; Theodore, his son, Mr. E. J. King; Jellicoe, Mr. W. White; Tho Mac Toddy, Mr. 11. Bilderbock; Gregory, Mr. J. J. Jameson; Mr. Vellum, Mr. R. Law; Ullage, Mr. E. Perry. Aurelia, Mrs. Tilling; Kate, Miss M. C. Williams; Mrs. Macclesficld, Mrs. E. White; Carrie, Miss M. Woodniass; Susan, Mra.- W. Norman; Messrs. Tilling and Trainer ably sustained fcho partis of the deaf boatbuildor and the retired confectioner respectively. Mrs. Tilling was good as Aurelia, and Mrs. White had , a good conception of what one can imagine tho wife of Mr. Macclesfield should bo". The minor characters were on the whole well sustained, and altogether the performance was a highly creditable .one. During the evening Miss Olive Laurvig sang the solo, for which she was awarded first prize at the Levin competitions, and was very favourably received: - The society's orchestra under Miss Laurvig's direction, played selections during the intervals. There was fi largo attendance at the ensuing dance. The success of the production was largely due to the efforts of the secretary and stago manager, Mr. Tilling.
