ANOTHER BRITISH INQUIRY,

At a. meeting of Liberal and Labour members .of tho Commons, a strong committee was formed td further the acquisition of land by the central Government .and tho local authorities on prices based on tho Government taxation values. It is understood that tho intention is to prepare a memorandum concerning the nationalisation of land for presentation to tho Premier and Mr. Lloyd-George. Tho committee disclaims any intention of acting in opposition to .Mr. Dyke-Acland's committee, recently set up by Jlr. Lloyd-Georgo to inquire into tho. land question.
