It will cot bo an official trip, ns Mr. Massey is going only as far as Otahuhu, to transact purely private business. Mr, Massey lias to make his arrangements for .the extended absence from his homo which his assumption of office will make- necessary. Tho first tolegram that the Hon. W. F. Massey sent away after taking his seat as Primo Minister, was to his oldest friend in' New Zealand, Mr. Thomas Wyllie, of Papatoetoe, near Auckland.
