MADAME DE CISNEROS'S GOWNS.

The succession, of lovely Paris gowns ivorn by Madame de CisneTos duriim her concerts have been ; of preat interest to women.. The perfection of outline and the subtle and beautiful colour harmonies employed almost raise : these creations from tho realm of the wardrobe to that of art. One-gown, on a foundation of satin of .pastel rose colour, showed, a wide panel of embroidery in grey and rose, surmounted by another of finely-wrought' silver work; above this draperies of mistgrey tulle, were softly folded round the figure, and caught at one side witih grey silk cord and tassels. The, low-out bodice repeated the harmonies of grey and rose colour. Over the long train of rose-col-oured satin floated another of diaphanous grey tulle, while a regal touch was given to the whole by a court train of grey, richly brocaded with silver. A band of silver set with rubies was worn in the hair. /Another charming dress was of pale bluo pcau-de-soie, fwith a saree drape of blue nefc, thickly sown with blue aquaniarineliko jewels. This overdress merged at the edge into a fabrio of gold lace, which also formed the long train. ■ A triangular.motif of black velvet finished the gold-lace bodies, and a jet, with upstanding black osprev adorned the "•hair. Still another toilette, had a trained overdress, cut in ample, - though not voluminous, lines of pearl-white satin, brocaded with'a submerged pattern .of fern leaves in gold. This was lifted at one •side with a few pleats;, clasped with a turquoise brooch, to show a rather full umlerdrcsß of gold tissue covered with a, trellis of heavy gold work,, in whoso meshes .was caught a shower of large unmounted turquoises. Tho square train <jf brocade was bordered with gold insertion, which was also used on the large revef of tho bodice. Two narrow bandeaux of gold, joined by a disc of turqudiso. ornamented the hair, and Madame's only jewnllery was her favourite ring set with an immense turquoise.
