There was an average entry of fat caJvos; and these met, with an unchanged demand, price.,- rnnging from 6s. to 70s. Thero was a very small entry of store cattle, mostly old rows. A few 15 to 18months made £1 10s.; 2-.vear-old heifers £4 to £4 25.; and dry cows, 3Cs to £4 2s. 6d. There was a fair number of dairy cows on offer, 'including some useful torts There was a keen demand, the best class selling up to £11 55., and others, £5 IDs. The' yarding of pigs was a small one, but the demand for porkers and stores was good. Choppers made 60s. to 855.; heavy baconers, 675. to 725.: and lighter eorts, 50s. to 60s. (equal to sd. to 5Jd.), the demand being better than on July 3. Heavy porkers brought 435. to 475.. and lighter sorts, 3Es.' to 40s. (equal to s»d. Tier H0... The best cln.ss of stores made 30s. t'> oSs., and smaller piers. 16e. to 255. Weanors realised Bs. to 14s.

Fat. sheep: 2561 penned, consisting mostly of medium weight wethers and ewes, with a few pens of very pood sorts. Prices were much tho same o« last week, hut improved slightly towards the clos?.
