The revolted tribes have invested Marakeshj tho southern capital, and the Europeans aro unable to leavo their houses. The tribes in tho .vicinity of Mazugan, on the coast, ore restless. Tho Sultan, Mulai Hafid, will shortly abdicate in favour of his brother, Multti Yusif, and will then reside in Tangier.
