ARBITRATION COURT AWARDS.

The following awards by tho Arbitration Court were filed to-day :— ■ Dunedin and'Mosgiel Woollen Mille employees Weekly hours, 48; overtime, lime and a quarter for tho first four hours, and time and a half after that; double time for Sundays and holidays. Wages for girls: First vear, Ba. per week; second year, lis.; third year, 145.; fourth year, 205.; thereafter a minimum of 255. Wages for boys and youths: From 11 to IS years, 11b. per week; 16 to 17, lis.; 17 to 18, 17s. Gd.; 18 to 19, 225. Gd.; 19 to 20, 275. Gd.; 20 to "1, 255.; and thweaftar a minimum of 455. Boys and youths, night work: 16 to 19 years of age, 255.; 19 to 20, 305.; 20 to 21, 375.; and thereafter 48s. , For male workers over 21, the following minimum .fates liavo been fixed: Wool .sorters, s@s.; turners, 565.; warpers, sGs.j pattern weavers. 48s.j6winters, 505.; carpenters, GOs.; and blacksmiths, GOs.; all other workers, 455. Tho award will expire on Miay G, 1914. > Otago Titaber Yards and Sawmillers.— Hours of work, 44; overtime, timo and a quarter for tho first four hours, and timo and a half afterwards, with dou&lo time for Sundays, Good Friday, and Christmas Day. Minimum, rato of wages: First sawyer, Is. 4d. per hour; other e&wyers, Is; lid.; tailors, Is.; first-class machinist, la. 4Jd.; socond-class, Is. 2Jd.; other workers at machines, Is.; .head yardman, Is. 4ld.;' ordor man, Is. lid.; yard, mill, and factory labourers, Is.; wood turner, lSi 3d.; spoke tumors and finishers, Is. l}d.| and Bash and -door hands, Is. 2d. Wagoj for youths run from 12s. Cd., with, a 3s. rise for tlio first 12 months, up to 18 years of age, then a rise of ss. for IS months up to 21 years. Wages of youths or lads employed as apprentices, 10s. per week for first year, 15s. for fiecond, 203. far the third, 255. for ftwrtli, and 80s. for fifth. The award will terminate on May 10, 1914. Apprentices: First year, Bs. a week; second year, 125.; third year, 165.; fourth year, 215.; and fifth year, 28s. od. Term of apprenticeship, five years. The award will expire on June 30, 1914.
