MUSICIANS' WAGES.

AGREEMENT ARRIVED' AT, (By Teleeriph.—Press Association.) Auckland, July 10. A full settlement was reachcd to-day in the dispute between tho Auckland Performing Musicians' Union and ilio employers, tho proceedings before the Conciliation Council being carried 011 in a friendly spirit. The wages provided for in general cases are X 3 per week for 6ix performances and one matinee,/'with 2s. fid. per hour, overtime. The Choral Society, Orchestral Society, and Amateur Operatic Society are exempt 'from tho provisions of the award, so long as they pay award rates to all frofessional musicians.
