(Specially written for The Douimmh.] ' THURSDAY. Celery Soup. Boiled Pickled Pork. Potatoes. Mashed Parsnips. Paradise Pudding. PARADISE PUDDING. Quarter of a pound of apples, Jib. breadcrumbs, 3oz. sugar, 3oz. currants, 8 eggs. The grated rind of half a lemon, salt, and nutmeg. Peel the apples and mince them; mix all the dry ingredients together, add the well-beaten eggs. Put the pudding into a buttered basin, tie down with a cloth, and boil for one hour and a half. Serve with sweet melted butter sauce. FOE TO-MORROW. Celery, stock, cream, 2oz. almonds, fish for boiling, cauliflower, treacle, suet.
