RIFLE SHOOTING.

NEW PLYMOUTH ' V;• KAPONGA. • A match- between tho New Plymouth and- Kaponga. Rifle Clubs was shot this iveek on the Reware'wa. range, between .teams of eight men, the conditipns being seven shots at 300 yds., 500 yds., and 000 yds. The weather coiulitions were fair, though the wind was a little fitful at times. Despite this there was some excellent shooting, Rifleman Evans (New Plymouth) making 100 out of a possible 105. Rifleman Roots (Kaponga) and Rifleman Winslado (New Plymouth) also notched 99. each. Possibles were scored by Rifleman Roots at 300 yds., Rifleman Hollard at 500 yds., Rifleman Winslade at 500vds., and Rificoun Bruce at 600 yds. Tho Now Plymouth Club won by 18 points.
