ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
TWO HARBOUR TRAGEDIES. The body of an unknown man was found (loafing in the harbour near the Taranaki Street Wharf at about 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon. Apparently the body had not been in the water for any considerable length of lime. There was nothing in the pockets by which deceased could be identified*—nothing ab all, in fact, but a wooden pipe and a packet of cigarotto papers. The body was that of a stoutly-built man of about 40 yoars nf age, sft. flin. in height, with a round, full face, dark hair, and dark moub'nolio. He was wearing a blue serge suit, and a dark grey overcoat.
