A PRIEST SENT TO GAOL. By Telegraph—Fiess Association— Oopyritelit' Paris, July 7. The Abbo Pitou has been sentenced to eight months' imprisonment. He recently culled on the police at Lyons and asserted that he had been seized by a robber and carried off in a' motor-car, and that his desk had been robbed of JE2OOO, 'consisting of church nioney6, but afterwards confessed that his etory was an invention and that he had misappropriated the money. . ' CLERC MURDER CASE. Paris, July 6. Tho police have arrested a man named Nollet, a friend of the man Parat recently arrested on a charge of murdering M. Clerc, an engraver, in consideration of JE2O paid by Madame Clerc. It is alleged that Nollet purchased the revolver with which Parat ehot M. Clerc.
