DANCE AT ST. PETER'S.
Tho Wellington Technical College Old Students' Association had a night out last evening, when' they held a dance, tho second of its kind, in St, Poter's Schoolroom. Dull grebn hunting draped all tho doors, and was festooned from tho centre of the ceiling to the sides, Tho stogo was carpeted and furnished for the use of the chaperones, and was further decorated with pot plants. In the supper-room, where Godbor's had provided an excellent suppr, the tables had yellow and black ribbona (the college colours) laid on tho cloth, and palms in green pots.'tstood at intervals down the centre; while the lights were covered with yellow paper-shades. Tho committee consisted of the Misses Gyles, Welsby, G. Williams. Frederic, and L. Caddick, and Messrs. Ellis, Walls, A., dill, Earnshaw, S. J. Bunnitig, A. Hamilton, and Miller; and rn<* chaperones—Mesdames W. S. La Trobe, J. I'. Luke, F. M. Renner, 0. Williams, and M'Vfcar. The musio was supplied by Mr. H. I'. Clark's orchestra. Mrs. La Trobe wore n white satin dress covered with black-figured net, the tunio edged with fringe and finished with narrow lines of pink sillcj Mrs. J, V. Luke was in biaclosntin and jet i Mrs. MTicar also in black,'with a pale blue opera coat; Mrs. Pitcaitlily wore heliotrope silk, with white lace fichu; Mrs. S.' Richardson was in dull blue voile, patterned with pink roses over satin of the same ehaooi Mrs. J. Hannah was in pale blue crepp do chone, with ,a short tunio of ninon, worked with bead embroidery and touches of heliotropo; Mrs, "Earnshaw woro black brocade, with reaJ lace; Miss Gyles was in pale blue velvet; Miss Welsby woro cream; Miss Frederick, whito taffetas chiffon; Miss Caddick was also in white; Mrs. Robertson woro n white silk gown, with a,short tunic of spangled lace; Miss F.' Gowor wore white satin, tho short tunic edged with rosebuds, and pink roses in hor hair; Miss Alma Gougfi was in omorald green, with a tunio of enu do nil chiffon, trimmed with silver;. Miss Williamson woro yellow silk; Miss Montgomery, black velvet,, ,witli white muslin fichu and bows of white .tulle in her hair; Miss Good, grey satin, with oxydised embroidery on. the corsage; Miss n, Gooder was in black velvet, with a pink rose in her hair; Miss Welsby wore striped whito ninon over blue; Miss B. Luke, pale heliotrope chaxmeuso; Miss Hill, a maize-coloured satin, with ovordress of floral chiffon, and nev sister was iu whito r satin; Miss Warren's amethyst silk was covered with ninon of a lighter shade; Miss Coulter was in white; Miss Diks, grey ninon over pink; and Miss Beaumont, pale blno silk, with runic of dowdrop net, edged with crystal fringe. Messrs. Graham, Robertson, Luke, Richardson, Pitcaithly. Walls, M'Vicar, and La Trobe, instructors at the Technical School, wore sproscnt, also Mr. Earnshaw, sen.
