SPECULATION IN EUROPEFRANCE FEARS A GERMAN INTRIGUE. AN ADVENTURE IN PERSIABy Telegraph—Press Association—Gopyrlsht (Ike. July 5, 10.5 p.mi) , London, July 5. A meeting has taken placo botween the Kaiser and tho Taw at a Baltic port. The German Royal yacht Hohenzollcrn, escorted by German warships, was met by the Eussian Imperial yaoht Standart, which had a division of torpedoes in attendance. The Kaiser dined on board the Standart. The German press is speculative as to the result of the meeting. Tho Russian press ia lukewarm, and declares that there will be no reason for Britain /and Franco to be disappointed. Tho chief anxiety in Paris over the meeting is as to whether the Kaiser is renewing his former efforts to divert Russia's attention from her European interests, and involvo hor in an adventur- I ous entanglement in Porsia.
