BIBLE IN SCHOOLS.
That interesting question, the Bible in schools, is to bo traversed at the Wellington Men's Brotherhood on. two successive Sundays from botli points of viow —against and for. To-morrow afternoon Professor Mackenzie is to oppose the thesis that tho introduction of Scriptnro lessons in tho State schools is desirable, and, on tho following Sunday (July 14) tho Rev. G, S. Cook, who has an extensive experience of tho New South Wales 6ystem, will take, up tho thesis from (ho affirmativo point of view. The aim of tho brotherhood apparently is that (as far as tho limited tamo of two addresses permits) tho subject should bo somewhat widely and interestingly dealt with.
