SUMMARY AND FORECAST. Present indications aro for hiuh northerly winds, veering- by west to southerUes shortly. Heavy rain probable on all tho Western Coast especially, and general rainfall may bo expected soon, with snow in tho south and on higher levels. and colder weather everywhere; the barometer falling further fori several hours In the north, but rising everywhere after about sixteen hours. An--1 other westerly low-pressure area will probably bring very unsettled weather In the middle of next week.
