Sheep: Empty ewes, to 10s. 9d.; small mixed lambs, 10s. 3d.; medium mixed Limbs, Us. 9d.: mixed aged ewes, in lamb. 11s. <ld. to 12s. 5d.; email two-tooth wethers, 14s. Id.; backward dairy heifers, to .f;4<ts. 6d.; store cows, £3 9s. to £3 135.; forward cows, £4 10s.; light fat cows, £5 9s. .
Messrs. Williams and Kettle report ha.ving held a very successful cleanup; sale at Maiiearawa on account of Mr. W. E. lieynell. on July 2. when all clnssee of live and dead stock realised very satisfactory prices. They report the following sales:—Mix'd-ssx hoggets, ?s. 9d., 11s. 3d.; eix-tooth to f.m. ewes, in lamb, Us. lid.; weaner steers, £2 to £2 4?. 6d.; weaner heifers, £3 14s. to £3 15=.: Jersey bull, £5 55.; 1 (trade lloletcin bull. £2 155.; two-tooth liomncv rams, £1 55.: 1 trap mare. £11 55.: and iiost of tho household Furniture and effects realised market mte=.
