A recent visitor to Lake Wakatipu gave a reporter some interesting or-wrvations on the new- twin screw steamer Earnshaw "Inch is to ply between Kingston and Queenstown. Tho Earnshaw, he said, was intended to carry one Hioiisand passengers comfortably, and the impression he forme<l of Jier was that she was a very fino boat. Everything about her was up. to (late, and sho would compare favourably m regard to fitting up with any of the Union Mean, Ship Company's lmts. Tho top deck is (lush from stem to stern, electric light is installed throughout, and tho upholstering. of the saloon and social hall is very fine. She is a beautiful model and ho couriered Hint sho would be a very comfortable and steady boat for the laketraffic.
