HEARINGS CONCLUDED. £y Telegraph—Press Association—Copyrislit London, July 3. In his address before the Titanic Inquiry Commission, the Attorney-General, Sir Rufus Isaacs, in defending the Board of Trade's action respecting life-saving appliances, s,aid'that an international conference would shortly bo summoned to draft regulations common to all countries.
The inquiry has now concluded. Tho President, Lord Mersey, lias promised to give judgment at the- earliest opportunity.
