Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd report on their stock sale, held at Johnsonyille yesterday, as follows:-A good yarding of bullocks came forward, arid a tor one of sheep. Beef sold very readily, prime making £10 12s. 6d. to £10 l&s 6d • good. £10 to'£lo 7s. 6d.: lighter, £9 2s. 6d. to £9 15s. A line of vealers averaged £2 10s. apiece. Wethers made 17s. to 17*. 4d to 17s. Bd. to 19s. id.; ewes, 15s. Bd. to lfs. 9,1.'; lighter ewes, 15s. id.; woollv lambs 12s lOd. to 135.; good shorn lambs, 13: i. 'Id. to lis. sd.

Ltd.. report U8 followti:—At Pahiatua, this week wc offered a very heavy yarding of both' sheep and cuttle to a. large attendance of buyers, including numbers from the Manawatu and Woirarapa. There wan spirited bidding for sheen, all being sold at advanced values. Cattle were represented principally hy a large yarding of dairy heifers. The bulk of these were lucking in, condition, and were not showiiv sufficiently in calf. For this class, there was not much demand. Good sorts met a goad sale, £8 15s. being reached. Other classes of cattle sold well. Oood young ewes, in lamb, 17s. to 17s. lCd.; good four and five-year-old ewes in lamb. !ss. 2d. to 17s. 3d.; sound-mouth ditto, 10*. 6d. to Jls. Choice (inality ox of medium and heavy-weights were 20s. per head higher than last week. Other qualities sol'd at about, the same as previously. Quotations: Choice pens of prime ox .-old at equal to 25?. to 29-. per 100 II,.; ordinary quality ox at. 235. to 245.; cow and heifers, at 20s. to 245. Veal: A small yarding. Prices were a shade higher. Heavy weancis made up to £5 3-.: choice suckers. 3k. to £2 145.; others, 10s. to 28s. .Mutton: A moderate yarding. Prices were about- Is. per head higher all round. Choice heavy wethers sold at 21s. to 235. 3d.: medium-weights. 17k. 6d. to 18s. 6d.; inferior welhors, 15s. 6d. to 16s. 6d.: extra heavy ewes. 16s. to 20s. 9d. ; medium-weights. Ids. 9d. to 15s. 6d. Lambs: Very few were yarded. They sold at high rates. Heavy woolly made 16s. to 225.: others, 12s. lo 155.; stores. 7s. to 9s. Pork: A small yarding. Heavy porkers made 355. to £2 14s. loqnul to sd. per lb.); light porkers made 20s. to 355. (equal to 6d. per lb.). BURNSIDE SALE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) Dunedin, July 3. The yarding of fat cattle at liurnsidc today was below the average, only 140 being penned. These included a few pens of exceptionally heavy cattle, which sold'from £14 to £17 ss. The bulk of the entry was made up of fair to good bullocks, with the usual offering of cows and heifers. Owing to the small supply, prices were firm at, an advance of 15s. to 255. per head on last week's prices. Best, bullocks. £11' to £13 10s.; extra heavy, £14 IDs. to £17 55.; me-, diiim to good, £8 10s. to £10 10s.; light, £6 15s. to £8; best cows and heifers, £8 to £10; extra, to £12 55.: medium to good, £6 to £7 10s.; light and inferior, £4 10s. to £5 15s. Fat- dieep: There was a full yarding of 3861. consisting chiefly of ewes. Prime wethers were in good demand, and sold at. pneos equal to last week's rates. Ewes were easier, and with the exception of extra prime quality prices receded 9d. to Is. Prime wethers, 225. to 235. 6d.; extra, to 255. 9d.: medium to good. 19s. to 2!5.; light, 17s. to 18s.: prime ewes, 18s. to 215.-, extra. 2ts. id.: medium.> 13s. 6d. to 165.: light. 9s. to lis. Fat lambs: 2756 were penned, and sold under brisk competition by export buyers, prices boing fully £d. to Is. a head higher than last week's rales for anything heavy, and prime, light, and unfinished, however, received less attention, and sold at prices equal to late rates. Prime, IB?, to 205.: a few pens of exceptionally heavy, to 265. 6d.; medium-weight, 15s. 6il. lo 175.; light and unfinished, 12s. 6d. to 14?. l'igs: There \yas a small yarding, only 53 being penned. With the exception of a. few pens, the entry com-'sted of. porkers and light baconers. The few slips yarded ■ sold at improved prices, but for other sorts there was no change in values.-
ADDIXGTOX STOCK MARKET. IBy 'fi<lc(rrai)h.—l'irpp association.'. Christchurch, July 3. Entries of stock at Addington market to-day were large, and there was a good attendance. Store sheep sold at improved rates, the highest price for the season being recorded lor ewes. Fat cattle sold at about lost week's rates. Fat. lambs were firmer by fid. to Is. per head, and fat eheep also showed a further improvement. There was no change in the values of fat pigs; a very small yarding of store sheep .included a few pens of exceptionally good ewes, the balance being of a medium class, a limited number of medium wethers, and the remainder lambs of various descriptions, including a few pens of ewes. The rile was an exceptionally good one for all classes offered. For wethers, although no very forward sheep were offered, prices ruled higher than "at the previous sale, whilst, in ewes the prices obtained were the highest realised at Addington during the current season.
Tho demand for lambs was also better than at the sale held on June 26. A line of exceptionally good four mid = ix-tooth ewes made 225. 6d„ and a pen of four, six, and eight-tooth ewes of a good rlass realised 19s. 9d. Fonr-ycar-old "h.-.U-brcii o.vts', extra good, made 21s. 6d.; fair two, four, and eight-tooth ewes. 17s. 9.1.; full „„« failing-mouth lines. Us. IPd. to 15s. 7d Ewe lambs made 14s. 7d. to 15s. Id.: and wether and mixed lines, medium, lis. Id. to 12s. fid. Wethers, noue of whHi - were snccially good, ranged from lfe 10s. to 17s. 9d.
The yarding or fat lambs totalled 4140, and was of mixed quality, a large proportion being prime, but there were a number of pens of light and unfinished sorts. There was :i keen demand for export, and the previous week's prices were improvrf upon to the extent of 6d.. and, in samo causes of prime lambs, Is. per head. Tegs made 17s. 6d. to 215. : and a few extra, to 245. 9d. : ordinary weights, Hs. 6d. to 175.; light and unfinished. 12s. fid. to 14s.
The yarding of fat sheep was smaller (1i:m; of later, tile proportion of owes being smaller in ronscouenro of their now having to bo sold subject to a gr.-mn-ico tint they are not in lamb. The quality of the yarding was mixed, and com! line? of tinlinislied wethers were bought In- graziers. The market showed a rise of fullv 6d per head on last week's uvircs. The entry of fat cattle agereiated 310 head, as against 2£G at the nrcvious sale and 3SO on .Tuiin 19. The qualitv all round was very satisfactory, the varding inr.ludinv some fine bullocks, which realised relatively high prices. The demand was unchanged sinee the previous week. There was a very small yarding of store cattle, those consisting of youns sorts and old cows. There was a pood sale ,for what was offered, yearlings making 305.; twoyear heifers, .€3 1?.; two-vcar Ayrshire heifers. £4 Is. to £5 7s. 6(1.; dry cows, 355. to -£1 ss.
Dairy cows sold well, making £5 10s. to £9 15s. and £10 is. to £12 10s. for the hotter classes.
Fat ni?s were in rood supply, and a noticeable feature of the sale was'that the quality was bolter thai at several i*eent markets. The demand was on the same level as the previous week.
