Tho annual meeting of the West Coasters' Association was held at thn Hotel Cecil last cvcDing, Mr. Frank M'Parland presiding. , , , , , , Tho annual report and balance sheet, a precis of which appears below, was read and adopted. Tho election of officers for the ensuing season resulted as follows -.—President, Mr. Frank M'Parland; vice-presidents, tho Hon. R, M'Kcnzie, Messrs. L. Dwan, E. J. Fitzgibbon, Hamilton Gilmer, Martin Kennedy, .T. J. M'Grath, J. Dwynr, 1. G. M'Cavthy, S. Gilmer, T. \. Seddon, M. O'Connor, and tho Hon. J. Colvmi secretary, Mr. C. J. Huff; treasurer, Mr. R Quinn; Management Committee, Messrs.' Qninn, Dunne, Vinscen, M'Pi"'laud, Wells, Kitehenann, Kyle, J. O haiio and Bradford. • . , It was decided to hold the association s annual "social" in the Town Hull, in tho first or eccond week m August, the secretary.to fix Hie necessary date. Mr. Martin Kennedy spoke & few words of praiso in reference to the excellent work carried out by the ofneers ot the association during the past year. The seventh annual report congratulates members on the success of the past year s work The balance-sheet shows that (hero is a small credit balance in hand. Tho sixth animal "social" and reunion was held in the Svdhev Street Schoolroom in September. 19il, and proved a, very successful affair. The first picnic of tins association was held at Dny> Bay, and in spito of tho inclement ,*yoathcr it proved satisfactory. The rcptrt records with regret the death of two members, Messrs. A. I». M'Ardle and G. Z. Qitarrie. A branch of tho association has been formed in Auckland and a successful luturo is anticipated.
