50ME MARVELLOUS ESCAPES. By Toleeraph-Press Assoolation-Oopyrieht Vancouver, July 2. The tornado at Regina out a lane two blocks wide and two miles long through tho city. All buildings within that area wero levelled. ' Marvellous escapes are recorded. Girls occupied in tho telephone exchange scrambled over the ruins of buildings and asoaped unscathed to tho streets. A fif-teen-ton switchboard fell besido them as they reached tho street. A largo grain olovator was earned oft fifty feet from its accustomed spot. A clergyman in ono church ran out as the entiro building fell about his ears. Tho damage i 3 definitely set down at '^1,000,1)00.
