A RIOTOUS CONVENTION.
MR. BRYAN HOWLED DOWN BY . THE DELEGATES. THIRTY-FIFTH BALLOT. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Rec. July 3, 0.15 a.m.) New York, July 2. Ceaseless balloting marked the entire session of tlio Democratic Convention at Baltimore yesterday, Mr. Woodrow Wilson slowly increasing his lead orer tlio other candidates for the Presidential nomination. On tlio thirty-fifth ballot the figures were:— Mr. Woodrow Wilson 494 Mr. Champ Clark 433 There was a remarkable demonstration when-the Indiana, Michigan, Vermont, low.v'and Maine delegates successively broko for Mr, Wilson. A riotous soene took place when tlio Missouri delegates displayed a flaring banner emblazoned ''Absolutely Incorruptible. Above reproach," which was Mr. Bryan's eulogy of Mr. Champ Clark in 1910. Mr. Bryan, livid with rage, rushed on to the platform and protested. The audience, however, shouted him down. Tlio police interfered to quell the disturbance, and there wero several free fights in the body of tho hall.
