In connoclion with Iho female sufl'rago movement, thcro has been. ;i recurrence of (he epidemic of window-smashing. Windows in public building.-; at Manchester, Ludlow, Ilitchin, and Lrtchworth, also at Claphtim mid in iiegent Street, London, have been broken. Several Suffragettes have been arrested, charged with damaging property. Thcro has also boon window-smashing at Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Derby, Ilkcetone, and elsewhere. Notices wero posted in (he broken windox's protesting against the forcible feeding of the Suffragettes in prison, and warning tho Government that there would bo inoro smashing if women wcro not given the vote. Two Suffragette's seized and attempted to bliako the Prime Minister (Mr. Asciuith) at a Liberal-Colonial Club reception. Tho Suffragettes wero hurriedly i ejected. ATTEMPTED INCENDIARISM. SUFFRAGETTES SUSPECTED. (Rec. Juno 30, 5.5 p.m.) London, June 29. Suffragettes aro suspected of attempting to burn Mr. Hob-house's Corslmnj residence. In a holo under the door was found paper saturated with ■ oil. Two ladies were seen in tho vicinity at four o'clock in tho morning. Tho Houss of Commons, by 213 votes to 67, rejected a motion to reduce Mr. M'Kcnna's salary in connection with tho forcible feeding of Suffragettes.
