When turning to returu to his proper side deceased suddenly appeared in tho middle ohtho road, and tho next thing he knew was that tho car hnd knocked her down. At tho time of the accident his car was going'between four and five miles an hour. Immediately ho saw the woman he applied tho brakes, and belioved that, he pulled up within five or six feet,

Tho Coroner advised witness always to keep-on his proper side of tho road. Ho recorded tho following verdict: "That tho deceased was killed in Colombo Street, Sydenham, by being knocked down by a motor-car driven by ono Thomas Guy while on his wrong side of the street." It is probable that tho polite will proceed further in tho matter.
