The Governor's Speech foreshadowed liberal assistance for mining development; the purchase of steamers for the northern eattlo tirade; the erection of State abattoirs; extensive railway construction; the extension of the Fremantle, Albany, Bunbury,' and Gentldton harbours; and an amendment of the liqiior law, providing for complete local optioh.
