ME. FISHER AND THE CENSUEE ■ MOTION. , By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyrfclit (Ecc. June 26, 0.45 a.m.) ' Melbourrie, June 25. The debate on Mr. Deakin's censure motion was continued in the House of Representatives to-day, when the Prime Minister, Mr. Fisher, resumed his reply to Mr. Deakin's criticisms. Mr. Fishtr defended tho Commonwealth Bank and the land tax. The bank's circulation was moro than double that .of all the private banks, and produced a net interest of The land tax. had broken up 1000 large estates into 29.000 small farms. Mr. Fisher further,eulogised tho conduct of tho Brisbane strikers.
