SUMMARY AND FORECAST. Present indications aro 'for a, decided increase in barometric pressure, with southerly winds veering to southeasterly and strpng to galo in parts. Changeable cold and showery weather is probable generally. Tho weather has continued cold and unsettled generally. Squally and showery in parts, especially in the northern and southernmost districts. The barometer has risen slowly and steadily everywhere. Southerly winds, moderato to strong, liave predominated; a gale is reported this evening at Cape Maria van Diemen. D. 0. BATES. Palmerston, Jime 21.—Fine; every appearance of frost to-night. Shannon, Jane 21.—Heavy rain on Thursday night; Friday dry, but unsettled. Otaki, j"une 21.—Sunshine. Featyerston, June 21.—The morning was. fine and bright; showery in afternoon. Greytown, Juno 21.—The weather has dcen very changeable all day. Hastings, June 21—A frosty morning, succeeded by a clear day.
