LIVE STOCK SALES.

Messrs.- Dalgcly and Co., Ltd., report having held their usual fortnightly sale at Fiketaliiuna yesierdaj-. They hail a small entry of sheep and e, fair yarding of cattle. Sheep sold well, and late prices were fully maintained. Tlioy "quote:— Siloop: Fat ewes, to 155.; empty ewes, 95., 10s. 3d., to 12s. 3d.: two-tooth wethers, small, 1J5..7d.; woolly lambs, good, 12s. Id.; two. four, and six-tooth ewes, 14s. 7d. Cattle: Forward bullocks, to £7 10s.; threeyear bullocks, £5 ss. to £6 10s.; empty cows. £3 to £4 10s.; springing licifers, £5 10s. to £6 10s.: dairy cowa, £5 to £7 2s. 6d.; weaner calves, 23=. 6d. to £2.

Messrs. Dalgcty and Co.. Ltd., report on their Levin stock sale, hold yesterday, as follows:—Wo had a medium yarding of slieep and a good one of cattle. At tin? commencement of the sale, bidding waa dull, but livened up as the sale progressed. A number of lines were p;wod at auction, but were sold privately after the salo atthe following prices :—fih-eep: Forward empty ewes, to 125.: woolly lambs. 93. Sd. to lis. 10d.: light fat ewes, to 13s. Id.: light fat wethers, to 17s. Cattle: Forward emnty cov-v-, £3 to £4: 18-month heifers in calf, to £4 7s. 6d.; springing hoifers, £5 to £7 8?.: store cows, £2, £2 Is., to £3: light fat- cows. £5 ss. to £t 7s. 6d.; good fat- cows, --C 6 ss. to £6 175.; dairy cows snringini, £8 12s. to £8 lEs.; spring calvers, £5 to £7.

The Loon and Mercantile Company report.:—At our Levin sale yesterday we offered a fair yarding oT cattle to a full attendance of buyer - The rait; opentMl badly and dragced throughout, and quite a number of cattle were turned out unsold. We sold ntore lambo to Es. 3d.; store bullocks, to £5 12s. Gd.; dairy cows, from £6 to £6 10s.; heifers, 8.W.8., from £3 ss. to £3 103.; dairy cows (spring calvers). from £6-to £8 10s.; weaner heifers, from 2Cs. to £1 17a.

Messrs. Abralwm and Williams, Ltd., report:—At. Levin yesterday a good yarding of sheep, mostly of exceptional quality, came forward. Keen competition existed for a,ll calls, and a successful sale resulted. Cattle also raid well, and all lots' changed hands 111 satisfactory prices.
