ONSLOW BOROUGH COUNCIL.
— « The Onslow Borough Council met last nicrlit. There wcro present the M'avor (Mr. F. Hcldsworth), mul Councillors'B. Lynneberp, ,T. C. Gardner, W. ]I. Bowden, T. Bates. R. W. Dingwall, C. Alpin, inn., and G. W. Daryall. The Mayor was appointed the council's delegate to the Municipal Conference which is to take place in Wellington next month. It was decided to fence the path on tho steep bank approaching the Ngaio School. It was deckled to ask the City Conn, cil to put a waiting shed at the* Thorndon Quay tram terminus. The engineer reported that the optimaled value of buildings for which permits had been issued in April. Mav. and June was
