CONVERSION INTO A MUSEUM,

Sydney, June 20. The State Premier (Mr. M'Gowcn) has promised to give careful consideration to tho resolutions of the recent meeting of citizen* protesting against using the State Government House for a museum or any other purpose than the residence of tho Governor-General. The Government, the Premier slid, did not intend to demolish the building. It was going to preserve its historical associations for the people Tfo was unable to hold out much hope for change of policy.
