Dr Lymau Abbott (a distinguished American Congregationalist), in a deeply interesting address to the students of Chicago University, said that ministers should not take any activo part in politics. The greatest need of the timo was that higlr ideals should be courageously and strenuously maintained in polities, but it was Rcnerally unwise for a minister to take sides.
