ARCHBISHOP'S LIBEL ACTION.
NEWSPAPER "TRUTH" SUED.

The libel action brought by Dr. Lowther Clarke, Anglican Archbishop of Melbourne, against John Norton, editor o£ the newspaper "Truth," claiming ,£SOOO damages, has commenced. It is alleged that the libel was contained in an ar.'iclo dealing with the case of Canon Nash, in which the Archbishop was stigmatised as a "nightman," "a pestilent parasite," "an inquisitor," and "an Anglican Anarchist," and was challenged to meet tho writer in a Court of law.
