SUMMARY AND FORECAST. Present indications arc for westerly winds 'Strong to a-heavy sale; cold, cloudy, and showery weather, with rivers flooded, on the West Coast. The barometer will probably foil everywhere soon. The barometer roso everywhere during the night, l with high south-westerly winds and heavy showers, but another westerly low-pressure area has been in evidence today, and temporarily modified weather conditions. (From Our Special Correspondent?.) Wanganui, June 14.—Beautiful day. Feilding, June 14.—Itain early in the day; fine afternoon; cold, calm night. Shannon, June 17—Sunday, windy and wot; Monday, fine but unsettled-looking. Greytown,' June 17—The weather broke fine-this morning, after a severe storm yesterday. Feathorston, June 17.—Fine, with N.W. breeze. A heavy N.W. gate blew all day on Sunday. Masterton, June 17—Beautifully fine weather was experienced to-day, following rain overnight. Hastings, June 17.—Yesterday ond to-day the weatner lias been almost, summer-like in mildness.
