Ho has stated that a Bill will be introduced in Parliament at an early date. About .CGOO.OOO would bo required annually, if nil mothers apply. Tho Now South Wales Government is simultaneously considering a 'scheme It will invite the co-operation of the friendly societies in making grants to mothers boforo and after the birth of children, to cover living expenses.
