SUMMARY AND FORECAST,
Present intHdatdoms are for inorteasins northerly wlnde, cloudy and miaty weather, preceding a' change for rain in most parts of tho country. Tho barometer will fall l everywhere, and probably low in tho south, but a rise is due to take place about Sunday for colder weather. The barometer rose everywhere during the night, but has fallen again to-day. Rain has fallen on the East Ooast of the North Island, and on the West Coast of tho South Island to-day, but fair to cloudy weather has prevailed, with variable winds. D. 0. BATES. Otaltl, June 14.—Sunshine. The rainfall for the past 24 hours to 9 o.m. was .Cosin. Featherston, June 14.—Fine, but dull. Greytowni June 14.—After a heavy rain yesterday the weather broke flno this morning. Maisterton, Juno 14.—First bright day of week; ligiht frost in morning. Hastings, June 14.—Dull morning, followed by light drizzle in tho afternoon.
