A two-mile procession of decorated horses and vans filed past the Lord Mayor and the Lady Mayoress of London in 'Regent's Park at the annual parade of the London Van Horse Society. It was the largest parade ever held. Many of the proud drivers had brought their families and friends, for whom they improvised seats in tho bodies of the vans. The long-service prize went lo I'.
