STRIKE IN BOSTON.
» - SERIOUS AFFRAYS: MANY ARRESTS, By Telegraph—Press Association-Copyright. Ottawa, June 7. There has been very exciting scenes in Boston. Employees of the Elevated Railroad Company struck. They tore down the trolly wires, obstructed traffic, and beat motormen and conductors who refused to strike. There .were also serious affrays with the police. Many arrests have been made.
