MAKE YOUR OWN HAIR TONIC.
A SPECIALIST'S ADVICE. In a recent issue the "Lady's Realm" of London published a special article on the care of tho hair in which was given the formula for a hoine-mado hair tonic that was highly recommended for its remarkable luur-growiuj properties, as well as for stopping falling hair, revitalising the hair roots, and destroying tho dandruff germ. This article was of special interest to me, as the formula was one which I myself have seen used in countless cases with most astonishing benefit, thus confirming my belief that home-mado hair preparations are the best. For the benefit of thoso who have not seen it before, I. give the formula herewith. Procure from your chemist a four-ounce bottle containing three ounces of Bay Rum, one ounce of Lavona de Coraposeo (Smith's), and i dram Menthol Crystals. Dissolve the crystals in tho Bay Rum, and then add the de Composee; shake thoroughly and apply night and morning to tho roots of tho hair, rubbing into the scalp with the finger tips. This preparation contains no colouring matter, but restores grey hair to its original colour by its action on tho hair roots. If yon desire it [*rfumed, add half a spoonful of French ft>n Flour perfume, which combines perfectly with the other ingredients, and imparts a most pleasing scent. (Do not apply whero hair is not desired.)'
