AND SIX HOURS A DAY. By Telegraph-Press Association-Copyright (Rec. June 8, 0.5 a.m.) Sydney, June 7. The State Labour Congress, after discussing a motion in favour of a 41-hours' week, adopted an amendment for a sixhours' day, wherever practicable. A later resolution was carried that wherever practicable five days should constituto a week's work.
