A cablegram was received expressing the good'wishes of tho South "Wales Association; A discussion on the question of insurance under tho Workmen's Compensation Act revealed the fact that exaggerated ;laims are growing. The companies, it was ftated, found it difficult to make a profit or adjust rates to cover risks. A resolution was passed against State competition in insurance, as being directly opposod to tho interests of the people. It was' also resolved that municipal insurnice was inefficient and costly, and detrimental to tliß ratepayers.
