QUARRY EXPLOSION.
■A CORONER'S RECOMMENDATION. By Telegraph-Press Association-Copyright. (Roo. June 7, 9 p.m.) Sydney, Juno 7. The verdict at the inquest on the Minnamurra colliery explosion, in which five men lost their lives a week ago, was that tho explosion was accidental, and that there was insufficient ovidence to show the cause. Tho coroner added a rider stating that the custom of allowing, work to proceed in ft quarry where holes were being charged was most dangerous, and favouring tho adoption of a regulation to suppress it.
