SUMMARY AND FORECAST. ■Present indications are for strong southerly winds generally, cool and changeable probable generally, with indications for fine weather following shortly, although conditions arc not yet settled either in tho northern and southernmost districts. The barometer will probably rise everywhere. The weather has been cold and changeable generally, with showers in parte, with moderate to strong south-westerly winds.
